The Montrose Club is a private club located in Montrose, Pennsylvania - deep in the heart of the Endless Mountains. With such amenities as a challenging 9 hole golf course, two clay tennis courts, full dining facilities and bar it's no wonder club membership is never lacking.
The United States Golf Association lists the Montrose Country Club as founded in 1898, making the club the fifth oldest in Pennsylvania. Nationally, the Montrose Country Club ranks about 76th in establishment as a 9-hole course.
An early advertising postcard proclaimed:
