About The Club
The United States Golf Association lists the Montrose Country Club as founded in 1898, making the club the fifth oldest in Pennsylvania. Nationally, the Montrose Country Club ranks about 76th in establishment as a 9-hole course.
When the club first began it was primarily a getaway for families from New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Today we have leagues Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a junior golf program on Monday mornings.
The course offers beautiful views of Lake Montrose, the back woods of the town, and the Endless Mountains that our area is known for. Spring, Summer, or Fall... you'll never complain about the view on the course.
The Montrose Club is always welcoming new members to enjoy the beautifully groomed 9-hole golf course next to Lake Montrose.
If you are not a member and would like to learn more about the course or joining the club there are plenty of opportunities throughout the season.
With different types of memberships available, there is sure to be a membership that would best fit your needs. Not a golfer? Become a social member to enjoy our restaurant and bar!

What our members and guests are saying:

"Greens are quick and tricky. Fairways are cut short, rough can be thick. No flat spots on the course but always in good shape."
- Steve G.
"Always a good time at the club!
Delicious food, such very nice people, great atmosphere, who could ask for anything more?"
- Lynn R.
